Consultant responsibilities

Job Description

Consultants are the account and service specialists of The Distillery.
Guiding clients through the entire process of creating stationery projects, you are responsible for:

1. meeting our clients in person, assisting by phone and e-mail
2. calculating project quotations
3. transforming creative ideas into project design briefs
4. offering creative input and direction
5. coordinating project production and completion
6. participation in business development projects
7. leading & building the sales team proactively
8. keeping up with industry trends

Trained and supported in all areas, you are encouraged to think creatively, grow assertively, and work closely with a like-minded team of design and craft specialists.

Suitability for position

Applicants must possess:

1. minimum 2+ years full-time experience, working in client service or account management in a professional office environment
2. excellent interpersonal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
3. extremely high levels of initiative and attention to detail
4. a love of helping people
5. confidence in mathematical calculation and problem solving
6. the ability to coordinate a large volume of concurrent projects
7. the ability to effectively time manage and multi-task
8. the ability to approach challenges with maturity, patience and grace
9. the desire to learn more and excel over the long-run, in a stable, thriving environment
10. and last but not least, an absolute love towards stationery, …much more than normal

You’ll be trained to become an expert in wedding & corporate stationeries as well as specialty production.

The Distillery is a fast-paced environment, and we’re seeking leaders who can grind through tricky challenges, and aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn lessons the hard way. In reality, this is positive yet sometimes slightly uncomfortable to do.

This experienced-intermediate level, full-time position offers a base monthly salary of Rp. 6-7 million depending on your skills, plus performance-based bonuses, leave entitlements, and insurance.
